Description
Description
The History of the Earth aims to teach youngsters about geology, fossils, and the Earth’s natural changes. Taking read-alouds and classroom activities as its methods, it was designed by the Core Knowledge Foundation to help make learning science both fun and meaningful. Aligning with Common Core State Standards allows this textbook to reach vividly and clearly into the thinking behind aspects of science previously hidden away or only fleetingly glimpsed by students.
Why Do We Read This Book?
It helps young learners understand where we live, how the Earth was formed, and why its natural history matters—building curiosity, science literacy, and environmental awareness.
